Horsemanship Philosophy

“PRESENCE” (In Your Heart)

She came to you from long ago

Upon her form you look and ‘know’.

When you understand the fact

Of lives lived, souls forth and back,

‘Presence past and presence hence’,

Only then her name makes sense.

With above you placed a task

And rewarded with just what you asked.

A gift from heaven lights your soul,

A golden girl, leggy and bold,

All gangly limbs and clumsy turns

To be older, she so yearns.

She dreams of doing greater things,

Of being big and having ‘wings’,

Of carrying you both low and high

Together, you’ll reach for the sky.

From stationery, she came to you,

Dreamt in a child’s mind so true,

Perhaps remembered from time long gone,

Tugged at your mind just like a song.

Her presence ever in your heart,

Together once, then had to part.

She’s waited long for the time right

To join you here, to bring you light.

And Presence then and Presence here,

You knew her there, you know her near.

Horse of your heart, your life, your soul,

Gift from the heavens, friend of old,

A life that’s special, because you know

Together you were long ago.

To touch her now and know the bond

Has spanned eons through life beyond,

That is a gift one can’t define

To cross the astral plains through time,

And find the one she loves so true

And give a gift of joy to you.

Wish you delight, and wish you love,

With your friend, home from above.

Treasure her, because you know

The life you shared so long ago.

Not many of us do get chance

To understand the astral dance,

But SHE knows in wisdom deep

So in her sights she did you keep

And claimed you soon as she had chance

To take you on this life’s dance.

Her presence in your heart is deep.

Into your soul her soul does seep

You two joined as one through time,

An age old love one can’t define.
