Websites with Jayne LavenderPosted in Bloggies on December 18, 2009 by Jayne Lavender I've learned these past two days that once I start a project I become so engaged in completing it, I can barely shift my mind to other tasks. And so the website of Horsemanship with Jayne Lavender has evolved! My website designer friend and I have been sat with three notebook computers, high-speed broadband and chocolate for many hours. The challenges of creating a website with limited experience are many. I am reminded of the challenges I faced when I decided to take on a horse as an adult. Sure, I had ridden (and I've used computers). Yes I read books about horses (and we at least bought the joomla! instruction book to refer to), and I've even been referred to as a computer expert by several friends who've seen me fairly competently navigate my way around "Office" or the internet. I imagine having ridden since a child, I appeared competent on a horse too. So, do these three make a programmer, or a horseman? Nope...
