Hello! Welcome to our new website. Please bear with us while we migrate our content across.

Jayne Lavender is a highly experienced horsewoman, who hails from Western Australia. Jayne also spent a good deal of her childhood in England.Jayne & Presence

Jayne’s love of, and association with, horses began in her childhood years in England and continued on her return to her native city of Perth. Jayne now lives on her specialist horse training facility in Serpentine in Western Australia’s equine heartland and has now been returning to England since 2000 to bring her unique ideas and methods to a wider audience. As Jayne herself says “you can’t change the world from your own backyard.”

That quote encapsulates Jayne’s true aim…..to make a difference, to change the way people around the world view themselves and their relationships with all animals, including of course the horse and to introduce compassion and empathy to those relationships. Her aim is also to teach you how to understand your horse and achieve results beyond your wildest expectations….with love and compassion, rather than fear and force, and to give you and your horse the self confidence and freedom that comes from a shared knowledge of each other.

Since her youth Jayne has studied with some of the natural horsemanship world’s most well recognized practitioners, including Ken Faulkner, Pat Parelli and many others. Her studies gave Jayne the building blocks of her approach to horsemanship, which she has built on using her own personal experiences and observations, gained and made over many years. Her approach is unique and invidualised. Perhaps one of the greatest  tributes to Jayne is that many of her students are now also her greatest friends.
